By using the Math Mentor platform ('the Platform'), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using the Platform immediately.
All AI models used in Math Mentor, including those provided by OpenAI, are subject to errors, biases, and hallucinations. While the Platform aims to provide accurate and reliable assistance, users must exercise caution and verify all outputs. Free accounts use less powerful AI models, which are more prone to inaccuracies. Use of the Platform, including these models, is entirely at the user's own risk. Math Mentor shall not be held liable for any incorrect or misleading information generated by the AI.
Math Mentor operates under a freemium model: Free accounts are allocated 50 credits per week, and paid accounts are allocated 2000 credits per week. Each user action consumes credits as follows: Starting a new conversation: 50 credits. Uploading a photo: 50 credits. Using the 'Generate Similar Problem' feature: 50 credits. A 'new problem' is defined as generating a similar problem, starting a new conversation, or reaching a maximum of 10 messages within a conversation. Math Mentor reserves the right to modify credit usage policies and amounts without prior notice.
Users are solely responsible for how they utilize the information provided by Math Mentor. The Platform does not guarantee academic success or the accuracy of any generated output. Users must not rely solely on the Platform for critical decisions, including but not limited to academic evaluations or professional certifications.
Paid accounts are billed on a subscription basis. By subscribing, users authorize Math Mentor to charge their chosen payment method periodically as specified at the time of subscription. Refunds are only provided under exceptional circumstances, subject to Math Mentor's discretion.
Math Mentor reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or a notification on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Math Mentor complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users within the EU and adheres to relevant US privacy laws. User data, including but not limited to chat logs and uploaded content, is stored securely. Users can request data deletion or access by contacting privacy@mathmentor.app. Data collected is used to improve the Platform and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Math Mentor does not sell user data to third parties.
Math Mentor is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, inaccuracies in AI-generated content or technical disruptions.
